Our Story
Founded in 2021, Blue Ocean was born from a vision to empower researchers. After years working as a Project Manager at a Swedish university, Alexandra Espinosa, together with a team of dedicated collaborators, decided to create a consultancy that works closely with researchers—allowing them to focus on what they truly love: research. Recognizing the complexity and administrative burden of EU funding, Blue Ocean was established to bridge the gap between funding opportunities and successful research execution.
The challenge? The intricate nature of research funding applications and management often prevents researchers from dedicating their time to innovation. By providing expert guidance in Project Management, Communication, Dissemination & Exploitation, and Legal Advisory, we maximize funding success rates while minimizing workload.
